Is an İstinye University degree recognised?
Yes. Since 2015 İstinye has been a private foundation university under Türkiye's Council of Higher Education (YÖK), and it is placed 801–1000 in the THE World University Rankings 2027. How much are Medicine and Dentistry at İstinye?
According to the university's official 2026–2027 fee list, Medicine costs USD 23,000 in Turkish and USD 29,000 in English, Dentistry USD 20,000 and USD 24,500, and Pharmacy USD 14,000 and USD 15,000 a year. Paying in full lowers these three by about 5% (e.g. Medicine in Turkish USD 21,850).
How much are other programmes?
Most bachelor's programmes cost USD 8,000 a year and Communication and Textile and Fashion Design USD 7,000. Master's programmes cost USD 8,000 (non-thesis) or USD 8,500 (thesis) for the whole programme and Clinical Psychology USD 15,000; PhD costs USD 12,500 and integrated PhD USD 15,000. What are the entry requirements for Medicine?
A minimum high school average of 70% for Medicine and Dentistry and 50% for Pharmacy and other programmes; these three also require at least one semester of chemistry or biology. With a qualifying average no international exam is needed, and applications are reviewed in about 2 working days on average.
What if I don't have a language certificate?
English-taught programmes accept TOEFL iBT 75, IELTS 6.0 or PTE 55; otherwise you take the university's proficiency exam or the English preparatory year (USD 8,000). Turkish-taught programmes require a B2 TÖMER certificate from an accepted university or the university's Turkish exam; the Turkish preparatory year costs USD 3,000.
How is tuition paid?
After conditional acceptance you pay the pre-registration fee stated in the letter, which is non-refundable. Final registration needs at least 50% of the annual tuition, with the balance due by 1 December; coordinate with your Taktik advisor before any payment.
Does İstinye have dormitories?
İstinye has no on-campus dormitory and works with several private women's and men's dormitories in Maslak and Seyrantepe, near Vadi İstanbul Campus. Taktik advisors help you choose and book one.
What is the deadline for Fall 2026–2027?
According to the university's official calendar, applications and final registration are open until 31 October 2026. Associate degrees are not open to international students.
