Study in Turkey and North Cyprus for Nigerian Students
Turkish visa through Sefa Visa, the North Cyprus e-visa, the MDCN exam for medicine and official university fees, each with its official source. Applying through Taktik is free.
Short answer
How can a Nigerian student study in Turkey or North Cyprus?
Since 5 January 2026 all Turkish visa applications in Nigeria go through Sefa Visa (Abuja, and Lagos since June 2026). Nigeria is on the list of countries that need a visa before travelling to North Cyprus: first a North Cyprus e-visa number from kktc-evize.gov.ct.tr, then a Turkish transit visa through Sefa. The Turkish embassy notes that a North Cyprus e-visa does not guarantee the transit visa. Applying through Taktik is free.
