How can a Pakistani student study in Turkey?
Pakistani ordinary passport holders need a Turkish visa; the e-visa is for tourism and commerce only, and the study visa is issued through the Turkish embassy's visa centres. After arrival you apply for the student residence permit on e-İkamet. For medicine, PMDC requires the foreign school to be ECFMG-listed, and graduates sit the NRE. Applying through Taktik is free.

Where do I get a Turkish study visa in Pakistan?
According to the Turkish Embassy in Islamabad, ordinary passport holders need a visa, and sticker-visa applications go through Anatolia Travel Services centres. The embassy form has an "Öğrenim" (study) visa type, and the university letter is one of its documents.
What are PMDC's rules for MBBS/MD in Turkey?
Under PMDC's guidelines from session 2024-25: the school is ECFMG-listed, MDCAT at least 50% and FSc at least 60%, at least 6,200 hours over 5 years with 80% attendance, and a multiple-entry visa for the whole programme. Graduates sit the NRE to register in Pakistan.
How is my Turkish degree recognised in Pakistan?
HEC handles foreign-degree equivalence online on eservices.hec.gov.pk; for medicine and dentistry PMDC's rules apply separately.
What is the Türkiye Bursları scholarship, and does Taktik apply for it?
It is the Turkish government scholarship, and you apply for it free and directly on the official site turkiyeburslari.gov.tr. The 2026 call ran from 10 January to 20 February 2026; the next dates are not yet published there. Taktik does not apply for this scholarship; we help with private universities, which have their own scholarships and discounts.
Does applying through Taktik cost anything?
No. Advice and applying through Taktik are free. You pay tuition and university fees directly to the university, and no money is paid into a personal account.
Who decides on admission?
The university; admission is not guaranteed. An advisor helps you choose universities that fit your academic record and language certificate and makes sure your file is sent complete and correct.
